The Opportunity:

We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join our Data Operations team.

You’ll work with our clients to understand their data requirements, gather the data we need to build effective solutions, and ensure we deliver them business value.

You’ll work alongside our Data Engineers and product teams to design and deliver amazing new data capabilities into the hands of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• As a Data Analyst in the Data Operations team, you will design specifications and build configurations to ingest and process client data at scale.
• You will be the primary point of contact with the client from a data perspective and will own the end to end client data provisioning process.
• You will work with our clients to gather their data requirements and convert them into data specifications.
• You will ensure that we get the data we need from our clients in order to fulfil their desired use cases and to deliver the most business value.
• You will work with our Data Engineers to design data transformations that extract the right metrics from the data provided, and support them with data analysis tasks in SQL and Python.
• In addition you will support operational activities, including investigating client issues and product configuration bugs. You'll work across the different squads to ensure they understand the bugs we're finding and have everything they need to fix them.
• You will adhere to and contribute towards improving our data standards, tooling and processes. 

What we’re looking for:

Requirements:

• 5+ years industry experience in data analysis roles

• Experience working in an Agile/Lean environment using CI/CD tools and processes

• Strong skills in using SQL and Python to analyse and validate data

• Experience working with BI dashboarding and self-service tools

• Experience in building data validation and audit reports

• Experience working in an ETL / Data Integration environment

• Experience working in a client-side team environment

Preferable:

• Familiarity with scripting languages and working in Unix environments

• An understanding of data integration tools

• A university degree (or equivalent) in engineering or science related discipline

Nice to Have:

• Interest in AI and Machine Learning and how data supports these activities
